Paper & proposal submission



Authors are invited to submit papers/tutorial proposals/posters for the conference. Submissions must be original and should not have been published previously or be under consideration for publication while being evaluated for this conference. The WIMS'11 proceedings volume is  part of the International Conference Proceedings Series published by  ACM, 

Contributions will be selected based upon their quality as evaluated by 2-3 referees.

The papers/proposals must be written in English and formatted according to the ACM guidelines. Author instructions and style files can be downloaded at

 http://www.acm.org/sigs/publications/proceedings-templates 


The maximum length of research papers and tutorial/demonstration papers is at most 12 pages in ACM format. The maximum length for poster papers  is at most 2 pages in ACM format.
Please note that the submission format is MS Word or PDF.

If you do not have EasyChair account, then register and, once you get the log-in information by mail, log into the system as an author. Enter all the required data about your submission and finally upload your contributed paper in either MS Word  or PDF format.

Authors of selected outstanding papers will be invited to submit extended versions of their papers for consideration of publication in the reputed Journals.

All accepted papers/posters will be published in the conference proceedings. At least one author of accepted papers/posters/abstracts is required to register at the full registration rate.

Selected papers from WIMS'11, after further revisions, will be published in the special issues of the following journals.

Some selected extended papers from WIMS'11 will be considered for Elsevier (Morgan Kaufmann) book [pending approval]
